You are not required to be online at a particular time or on a particular day. You are required to actively participate in your courses. For bachelor's and master's level courses, you must make substantive postings in each course three days per week (for doctoral students, it is two days per week). Each course syllabus is the official source of textbook and course packet information. Students will access the MBS online bookstore (the Argosy University partner for textbooks and related materials) through The Campus Common or at http://direct.mbsbooks.com/auonline.htm. Your academic advisor is assigned to you within seven days of the start of your first 7½-week session. Your advisor will assist you with program orientation and class scheduling and will help you resolve any issues with faculty, courses, or policies. Your academic advisor is your advocate during your time as a student at Argosy University.
Only Doctoral students are assigned Faculty Advisors. Your Faculty Advisor will be assigned to you within your first 7½-week session. Your mentor will assist you with career planning, help you to understand policies and procedures, prepare you for your dissertation, monitor your academic performance, and serve as an additional source of support and guidance during your program.

Yes, you need to be enrolled continuously throughout your program. Each student must enroll in at least 1 class per session, 6 classes per year. We know that students who continue to remain active are much more successful at completing their program than those who do not. Failure to attend during any session will result in being withdrawn from the University. You may speak to your academic advisor regarding more details.
Yes, we do have a priority registration policy as well as definitive add/drop registration details. For details, please refer to these sections in the Student Handbook.
We hope not, but we reserve the right to cancel any course in which there is insufficient enrollment. Students enrolled in cancelled courses will be granted a full refund and will be allowed to add a course. Enrollment in a particular course section or with a specific instructor is not guaranteed.
All requests for transcripts should be made to the Student Support Center. You will be required to complete and sign a transcript request form. A signature is required; therefore, telephone requests cannot be processed. All financial obligations must be met before your transcripts will be released. Please allow 5-12 working days to process.
